Osallistuimme Ristiinan näyttelyyn 31.7. Sileäkarvainen uroksemme Wolfheart Outsider oli toiseksi paras uros ja veteraaninarttumme Wolfheart Granny Smith kolmanneksi paras narttu ja ROP-veteraani. Muutkin kasvattimme, nartut W. Alley Cat ja W. Fire Alarm saivat arvosanan ERI ja kasvattajaryhmämme kunniapalkinnon. Granny Smith pääsi semifinaaliin BIS-veteraanin valinnassa, samoin kasvattajaryhmämme, mutta ei sitten kuitenkaan päästy neljän sijoittuneen joukkoon.
We were in the Ristiina show on the 31st of July. Our Smooth dog Wolfheart Outsider was now in Champion class and he was second among the males, while the old lady Wolfheart Granny Smith was third among the bitches and Best Veteran of the Breed. Also our other bitches, W. Alley Cat and W. Fire Alarm were graded "excellent" and our breeder's group got price of honour. Granny Smith was among the semifinalists when Best Vteran in Show was chosen, so was our breeder's group, but we weren't finally placed among the four.

Osallistuimme Helsingin kaikkien rotujen näyttelyyn, joka pidettiin Tuomarinkartanossa 24.-25.7. Uroksemme W. Outsider oli Rotunsa Paras saaden sertin. Se tuli nyt myös valioksi. Se oli myös ryhmäkilpailussa toinen. Pentuluokassa W. Wexford, om. Pilvi Merikallio, oli ROP-pentu ja sen sisko W. Wysiwyg VSP-pentu. Nartuissa W. Irresistible, W Alley Cat ja W Rosamunda saivat kaikki ERI:n, Irresistible on PN3 ja Alley Cat PN4. Rodun tuomarina oli Annukka Paloheimo, ryhmäkilpailun Marie Hogarty Irlannista.
Näyttelyn yhteydessä viisikuinen Wolfheart Yum-Yum lähti Italiaan Jari Rosario Spagnan mukana.

We took part in the all-breed show at Helsinki on the 24.-25. July. Our Smooth dog W. Outsider was BOB and second in group. He also became Champion, being 11th Finnish Champion by Vegas (Tamsam Ringside Gossip). The puppies W. Wexford, o. Pilvi merikallio, was Best Puppy in Breed and his sister W. Wysiwyg BOS Puppy. Our breeder's group got Price of Honour. The bitches W. Irresistible, W. Alley Cat and W. Rosamunda got all "excellent", Irresistible was 3rd among the bitches and Alley Cat fourth. The breed judge was Dr. Annukka Paloheimo, group judge Marie Hogarty from Ireland.
Jari Rosario Spagna from Italy was judging some other breeds in the show, and he took Wolfheart Yum-Yum (five months) with him to Italy.

Sileäkarvainen Wolfheart At Full Speed, om. Kirsi Nummela, oli toisessa näyttelyssään ja sai toisen serttinsä Kemissä 24.-25.7.
The weekends in the middle of July were very good for the Wolfheart Fox Terriers. The Smooth bitch W. Keyword o. Tiia Mattila & Satu Mulari-Karvonen, was BOB at Mantsälä 17.-18.7. and got her second CC. Also the young Wire dog W. Illegal Alien, o. Miia Orre, got his first CC at Ylivieska on the same weekend.
At Kemi 24.-25.7. the Smooth dog Wolfheart At Full Speed, o. Kirsi Nummela, was in his second show and got his second CC.

Kettuterrierieden erikoisnäyttely Jämsässä 9.7. meni osaltamme hyvin. Sileäkarvaiset arvosteli Guilhéme Pélissier Ranskasta ja karkeakarvaiset Gerhard Haitz Saksasta. Osanottajia oli ennätysmäärä, reippaasti yli sadan.
Pentumme W. Xmas Gingerbread oli paras narttupentu, ja sitä pari viikkoa vanhempi W. Wysiwyg toiseksi paras. Nuori uroksemme W. Skyjacker voitti junioriluokan ja oli lopulta toiseksi paras uros saaden myös erityisen arvokkaan sertin. Johanna Sjöbergin W. Nuts And Bolts voitti narttujen käyttöluokan, W. Alley Cat oli avoimessa luokassa toinen, W. Timaru valioluokan kolmas, W. Raisin nuorten luokan neljäs ja W. Granny Smith voitti veteraaniluokan ja oli lopulta BIS-veteraani. Karkeakarvaisissa W. Morticia oli ROP-veteraani ja siis BIS-2 veteraani. Kasvattajaryhmämme sai kunniapalkinnon ja oli kasvattajaryhmistä toiseksi paras. Vegasin (Tamsam Ringside Gossip) jälkeläisryhmä oli BIS-jälkeläisryhmä.

The Finnish Fox Terrier Club Specialty show, which was held at Jämsä on the 9th of July, went very well. There was a record entry, well over 100 dogs entered. The judges were Madame Guilhéme Pélissier from France for the Smooths and Mr. Gerhard Haitz from Germany for the Wires.
In the puppy classes our young bitch W. Xmas Gingerbread was best bitch puppy, and our W. Wysiwyg, who is just a couple of weeks older, was second among the bitch puppies. Our young dog W. Skyjacker won the junior class and was finally 2nd best male and got the very valuable CC. W. Nuts And Bolts, O. Johanna Sjöberg, won the bitches' working class, W. Alley Cat was 2nd in the open class ,W. Timaru third in the Champion class and young W. Raisin fourth in the Intermediate Class. Our old lady W. Granny Smith won the Veteran class and was finally Best Veteran in Show, while W. Morticia was Best Veteran of the Breed in Wires. Our breeder's group got price of honour and was 2nd best Smooth group. Tamsam Ringside Gossip with his offspring were Best Progeny Group in Show.

Osallistuimme Forssan näyttelyyn 3.7. Tuomarina oli Juha Kares. uroksemme W. Outsider oli paras uros saaden toisen serttinsä, mutta mikä parasta, Johanna Sjöbergin omistama narttu W. Nuts and Bolts sai kolmannen serttinsä ja tuli muotovalioksi - tai oikeastaan siis kaksoisvalioksi. Veteraani narttumme Granny Smith oli toiseksi paras narttu ja lopulta BIS-4 veteraani. Kasvattajaryhmämme sai kunniapalkinnon. Pentuluokkaan osallistunut Viscountess sai kunniapalkinnon ja oli ROP-pentu. Juha Kareksen arvostelu kasvattajaryhmästämme oli ylistävä: "Tyylikäs ryhmä laadukkaita mittasuhteiltaan ja tyypiltään erinomaisia kaunispäisiä reippaita koiria. Koirilla kauniit profiilit, hyvät kaulat ja ylälinjat ja tyypikkäät liikkeet. Toivon kasvattajalle paljon onnea ja voimia kasvattaa tällaisia laadukkaita koiria myös tulevaisuudessa."
Seuraavana päivänä osallistuimme Porin kansainväliseen näyttelyyn, jossa tuomarina oli Leif-Herman Wilberg Norjasta. Uroksemme Gil Grissom oli paras uros saaden CACIBin sekä Piia Helmisen omistama W. Audacious sai sertin tullen muotovalioksi. Siis kaksi uutta Wolfheart-muotovaliota saman viikonlopun aikana! Audacious on samalla Vegasin kymmenes valiojälkeläinen. Veteraaninarttu Granny Smith oli kolmanneksi paras narttu sekä jälleen BIS-4 veteraani. Toisia narttujamme, Counterpartia sekä Bannside Grease Lightingiä vaivasi kesän kuumin hellesää, eivätkä ne esiintyneet parhaalla mahdollisella tavalla, saivat toki ERIn. kasvattajaryhmämme sai jälleen kunniapalkinnon.

We took part in the Forssa national show on Saturday, the 3rd of July , where Mr. Juha Kares judged Fox Terriers. Our dog W. Outsider was BOS and got his second CC. The best thing was, however, that Johanna Sjöberg's bitch W. Nuts And Bolts got her third and crowning CC. In fact she is now dual champion. Our puppy W. Viscountess was Best Puppy in Breed and got price of honour. Our old lady Int Ch W. Granny Smith was 2nd best bitch, Best Veteran in Breed and was finally placed fourth in the "Best Veteran in Show". Our breeder's group got a price of honour and a very flattering critique: " A very stylish group with quality dogs, who have excellent proportions and breed type. All the dogs have beautiful heads and they are self-confident. All have beautiful profiles, good necks and toplines and typical movements. I congratulate the breeder and wish that she has strength to go on breeding this kind of quality dogs also in the future."
On the following day we went to Pori International show, where Mr. Leif-Herman Wilberg from Norway judged. Ch W. Gil Grissom was now BOS with CACIB. However, I was most happy when Piia Helminen's dog W. Audacious got his third CC and became Champion, in fact he is the tenth Champion by Vegas. Not bad, two new Wolfheart Champions in one weekend! The old lady Int Ch W Granny Smith was third best bitch, best veteran of breed and was again placed fourth in the Best Veteran in Show. Out breeder's team got again price of honour. Our other bitches suffered obviously from the hot weather, got their "excellents" though.
