Meillä oli tiukka näyttelyviikonloppu 10.-12.7.. Perjantaina olimme kettuterrierien erikoisnäyttelyssä Kuorevedellä, johon oli ilmoitettu ennätysmäärä koiria, 115 . Sileäkarvaisten tuomarina oli englantilainen Margaret Rose (Bannside), loppukilpailut arvosteli karkeakarvaisten tuomari, irlantilainen Michael Gavin (Spinkeen). Kymmenen Wolfheart-koiraa osallistui, ja yhtä liian laihaa lukuunottamatta kaikki saivat arvosanan ERI. Counterpart voitti narttujen avoimen luokan ja oli Paras Narttu-luokassa neljäs. Uroksemme Indicator oli BIS-käyttökoira ja Tamsam Ringside Gossipin neljästä valionartusta koostunut jälkeläisryhmä oli BIS-jälkeläisryhmä.
Lauantaina koiristamme neljä osallistui Laukaan näyttelyyn, jossa tuomarina oli Irina Poletaeva. Counterpart oli VSP, paras narttu ja sai toisen sertin. Nuori uroksemme Outsider oli ensimmäistä kertaa näyttelyssä ja sai heti sertin ollen toiseksi paras uros. Kasvattajaryhmämme sai kunniapalkinnon.
Sunnuntaina suuntasimme Karjaan näyttelyyn, jossa tuomarina oli slovenialainen Zeljko Gajic. Rotunsa parhaaksi tuli Terhi Lindahlin omistama Wolfheart Irresistible, joka sai siis toisen serttinsä, Counterpartin ollessa toiseksi paras narttu saaden varasertin. Outsider voitti urosten junioriluokan ja päätyi uroksista toiseksi parhaaksi saaden varasertin. Jälleen kasvattajaryhmämme sai kunniapalkinnon.
Saatamme harkita Outsiderin ja Nipperin myymistä tai sijoittamista näyttelyistä kiinnostuneelle!

We had a busy weekend. On Friday the 10th of July at the Finnish Fox Terrier Club Specialty show there were 10 Wolfheart Smooths shown, and all except one too slim one got "Excellent". Out bitch W. Counterpart won the open class and was finally 4th best bitch. There was a record entry of 115 Fox Terriers altogether. Smooths were judges by Margaret Rose from UK (Bannside), Wires and all the finals by Michael Gavin (Spinkeen) from Ireland. Out dog W. Indicator was Best Hunting Dog in Show, and the progeny group of Tamsam Ringside Gossip, consisting of four Champion bitches, was Best Progeny Group in Show.
On Saturday the 11th of July we had four dogs shown at Laukaa, where Irina Poletaeva judged. Our bitch Counterpart was BOS and got her second CC, and our young dog Outsider, shown for the very first time, got also CC. He was only beaten by the Champion dog who was BOB. Our breeder's group got the price of honour.
On Sunday the 12th of July we went to Karjaa with the same dogs. The judge was Mr. Zeljko Gajic from Slovenia. BOB was Wolfheart Irresistible, owned by Terhi Lindahl. She got her second CC, while our own Counterpart was 2nd and got reserve CC. The young dog Outsider won the junior class and got reserve CC. Our breeder's group got again the price of honour.
We might consider selling Outsider and Nipper to someone interested in shows!

Olimme näyttelyissä Tuusulassa 4.7. ja Hyvinkäällä 6.7. Mukana oli pääasiassa nuoria koiria "harjoittelemassa". Ensikertalainen junioriuroksemme W. Nipper sai ERI:n kummassakin näyttelyssä, oli lauantaina 4. paras uros ja sunnuntaina 3. Narttumme W. Counterpart sai lauantaina varasertin ollessaan 3. paras narttu, ja W. Nigh-Light oli PN-4. Counterpart oli sunnuntaina VSP saaden sertin, ja juniorinarttumme W. Quagmire oli 2. paras narttu saaden varasertin. Uroksemme W. Indicator oli 2. paras uros saaden varasertin. Kumpanakin päivänä kasvattajaryhmämme palkittiin kunniapalkinnolla. Sunnuntaina kasvattajaryhmä otettiin semifinalistien joukkoon.

We were exhibitors in the shows at Tuusula on Saturday the 4th of July and at Hyvinkää on Sunday the 5th of July. Most of our dogs were youngster, just practising how to be in a show. Our junior dog W. Nipper got "excellent" in both shows and was 4th best dog on Satirday, 3rd on Sunday . Our bitch W. Counterpart got reserve CC on Saturday, but on Sunday she was BOS and got her first CC. On Sunday we got also both the reserve CCs, the dog W. Indicator and the young bitch W. Quagmire. We also had a breeder's group in both shows and got price of honour with the team. On Sunday we were among the semi-finalists for best breeder's group in show.
